Getting Started...
When you log into your account with MySaleManager, it will take you to the member home page. This is the page that will help you navigate the selling and tagging process. Please read all * information as it has been updated for the sale!
Here is how to create your tags:
1. From your member home page, click on Manage My Items (upper left hand of the screen). This will bring you a new screen, Manage Items.
2. To begin adding items, select Add Items. This will bring up the form to add all your information for the tags. You will enter information about your item including item name and description (give a detailed description of the item), size, price, category (ex. clothing, girls - shirt), discounted (to participate in 1/2 price sale on Saturday, donate. Click Create Item(s) when you are done entering information for your item.
3. Continue adding items until you are done. You can do this a few at a time, or all at once. Go at your own pace!
4. Print your tags... You will need to use WHITE CARDSTOCK to print your tags. You can find inexpensive packs of cardstock available at most craft/hobby stores, Wal-mart, Target and other stores. Tags will print out 8 per page.
*5. Returning sellers, only associate items from past sales that you are actually bringing to the current sale. Do not select to "associate all items with this sale". You need to unselect all items, and only pick the items you are bringing. Failure to do so results in poor sell through rates, which will impact a sellers ability to bring more items the following sale.
*6. Only select your BEST items! Sellers with over 300 items will be REQUIRED to assist with clean up.
* Our scanners can have a difficult time scanning textured paper and other colors. Please make sure you only use white cardstock. Also make sure your printer cartridges are full so that your text is dark enough to be read by scanners!
Step 1: Item Preparation*Clothing:
1-All Clothing MUST BE CLEAN. Launder if needed. 2-Make sure all items are free of holes, stains or smoke odors, and pet hair. Make sure they are seasonal and not worn beyond normal "wear and tear". Items with excess pilling will not be placed for sale. 3-All clothing items must be on hangers. Infant onesies (0-6 months) can be placed in Ziploc bags - this is the only exception to the hanger rule! Please make sure to seal your Ziploc bags with packing tape! 4-Use a tagging gun or safety pins to securely fasten tags to the clothing. The best location to place your tag is on the items clothing tag, a seam or another place that isn't going to harm the fabric. If the tag falls off, we cannot sell the item. We want you to get credit for your sale... please make sure they are securely fastened. *Do not damage your items by tagging them incorrectly. If used wrong, tagging guns can leave holes in clothing. Due to customer complaints from purchasing items with holes from tags, clothing found with holes from tagging guns will be returned to the seller and may be debited from your total sales. The C3 sale will no longer rent tagging guns. *5- Size accordingly. According to industry standards, youth sizes are XS 4-6, Small 6-8, Medium 8-10, Large 10-12 and XL 12-14. Junior sizes are: XS 0-1, S 3-5, M 7-9, L 11-13. We do NOT accept women's and men's sizing (2, 4 , 6, 8, 10 etc). *6- Brands - We do not allow the following brands: ANY brand from WALMART (George, Faded Glory, No Boundaries, White Stag, Joe Boxer, Just One Year/You, Garanimals) Circo, Cherokee, Kids Korner and Jumping Beans. These brands can be purchased inexpensively new, and resale quality is low. Please do not include these items in your inventory as they will be returned to you at item check in. *7- Item Limit! Each seller is limited to 300 items total. Returning sellers can apply for an additional number of items if their previous sale sell-through rate is above 50%. *8- Minimum number of items is 25 in order to participate. *9 - Item entry cutoff is Monday, MARCH 23rd at 9pm.. We inspect all items as they arrive (to the best of our ability) and once again before the sale. Any items that do not meet our standards will be pulled from the sale and donated. We reserve the right to refuse any item that does not meet the standards of the sale. This includes out-dated clothing, t-shirts from past season sports teams and local schools (YMCA soccer, baseball, high school etc) and items that we believe will not sell. Items not on hangers will not be placed for sale. We are not responsible for tags that fall off of items. Whether you use safety pins or the tag gun is up to you. But, please be careful to place the pin or fastener in a location that will not damage clothing. Cribs: WE CANNOT ACCEPT CRIBS MANUFACTURED BEFORE June 2011 DUE TO THE CONSUMER PROTECTION SAFETY ACT! Cribs must be produced after June 2011 in order for us to re-sell them.
Pack and Plays: We recommend you set these items up for display at the sale. They sell much better this way. Include all parts and set-up guides/manuals with them. All necessary parts must be included, and they should be clean. Car Seats: Yes, we accept car seats! However, we ask that you not bring in car seats that have been recalled, in an accident or older than 5 years old. *All seats should be clean and in good condition! *Please include manuals with them. If you cannot find your manual, this website has many that are downloadable by brand. *We do require that you fill out a car seat waiver when you drop off your carseat. You can find a downloadable copy of the waiver at the bottom of this page. Here is the link to manuals: http://babycare.manualsonline.com/manuals/device/car_seat.html

Shoes:
1-Shoes should be clean and in good condition. A magic eraser works great to clean up scuff marks. 2-Tie shoelaces together to keep shoes in pairs. We have also found that using ribbon or zip ties works well to keep shoes together. 3-Robeez should be placed inside their box (if you have one) and taped shut. These are zip-tied to the shoe racks for safe keeping. 4-Attach tag to shoes. Tags can be placed around the laces, through eyelet holes or taped to the outside of bags for scanning. *Do not tape over the barcode! Socks/Tights: *Group socks and tights in bundles by age and size. Ziploc's work great for these items. Seal the bags with packing tape. Toys: 1-All toys should be clean and in good working condition. All necessary parts must be included. If a toy is sold that isn't working or missing parts, you will be charged a $10 return fee. 2-Replace batteries if needed. If your toy does not work, it will be removed from the sale. 3-Pin or tape tags to toys, do not to tape over the tag barcode. We find that packing tape is great for taping tags on larger items! But do not tape over the barcode. Books: *Books can be individually sold, or bundled together. *Books can be grouped together and placed in ziploc bags, or bundled with rubber bands. *Place tag on outside of the bag for scanning. *Do not tape over the barcode. Movies/DVD's/CD's: *Check to make sure the item is still in good condition (not too many scratches on CD/DVD's). *Clean items with damp cloth if needed. *You can bundle them together or sell individually. *Do not tape over the barcode. *tape the case shut! Anything of value over $10.00- please place in a bag so we can zip-tie it to a rack for safe keeping. Baby Gear: This includes high chairs, exercise saucers, entertainers etc. Please make sure they are clean, have batteries if they are required and are in good condition. Have these items ready to set up if necessary. |
*If your item is returned because it does not work or is missing parts, you will be charged a $10 return fee!*
